10. CZECH REPUBLIC
Czech national football team represents the Czech

1938, Italy became the first team to defend their World
Cup title and due to the outbreak of World War II
retained the title for a further 12 years. Italy is one of the
most successful national teams having won four titles in
1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006, appearing in two other
finals in1970 and 1994, reaching a third place in 1990
and a fourth place 1978.
